I have just dicovered belly dancing on youtube today. I’m thrilled because i am a young, married mother of two young children. I weight 48 kg so i am not fat but my tummy is weak and soft. How often (how many days a week for how long) would i have to bellu dance to get my tummy sexy and toned again?

ladies calm down…i think their was just something misunderstood. a lot of dancers get upset becauseof the sexual misunderstandings with belly dance and somtimes we become too defensive and i think that is what happened here.
belly dance is not sexual BUT, as a married woman of course i share it with my husband as well and i would be lying if i said it has not strengthened my hips and gave me flexibility that he loves. enjoy your dancing!

i agree. belly dance IS NOT ABOUT SEX…just some people take it for that, strippers and belly dancerrs are two different things…as a tribal belly dancer i can tell you right now i would NEVER be sexual or stripper like with my dancing. and anyone who thinks it is sexual is highly wrong. as for this video, its good for beginners but thats it. its very simple

You cant tell me what belly dance is about. I am not a stripper or have never been. You are right when you say it is an art like Ballet, As with any art you can use them in various ways. I can move my body in different ways because of belly dance and I share that with my husband! Not some booty call. What and when in your opinion should belly dance be done?
