I’d just like to …
I’d just like to add that I’m NOT trying to stir things up and that the way i have worded my posts has given the wrong impression. I myself do not dance to tittilate people sexually, I’m just ok with the fact that some people WILL find this sexy/sensual and erotic. Sometimes I do wish it could be taken without the raised eyebrow, but i’ve yet to meet someone who does not raise their eyebrow when I say i bellydance!

We are all here …
We are all here because of sex – I do not find talking about sex or the sexual act offensive. I do not think we should be ashamed of where we come from or why we are here – that is why this dance came about (and most tribal dances) to celebrate the body and the joy of life! I think Mira is an incredible dancer and have been very lucky to have workshops with her. I am sorry if what I have said upsets other people, but it is not offensive to me and many others.

Most dances are …
Most dances are about sex. If you don’t think shaking your booty (which when you break it down, thats waht bellydance is) and your boobs (which also happens in the dance) and the sinuous waving movements of the body isn’t sensual or sexual then you are deluded. Its just those who are restrained by religions which forbid humans to be sexual think that something sexy is sinful. Its wonderful and its a beautiful expression of the human body and we should be proud of our bodies.

The By dancers for …
The By dancers for dancers vol1 is soo good.. I loved Mira, Zari, Michelle Joyce, Zaheea, Luna.. all great performances.
Mira s stuck in my mind for a couple of months. Great choice of music, great performance – soo sultry. what I could not forget – this fancy ankle embellishment.
So sexy!
I need to check out Mira s tribal performances, but already I looove her oriental style dance.
